Irrational Guilt: A true Story about a torn Tribute Potterhead

I am selfishly afraid that Harry Potter will beat out The Hunger Games for the MTV movie awards.

I feel guilty because I love BOTH, and Harry Potter only has this one chance, but I still want Hunger Games to win.

I feel like somebody just walked up and snapped my wand and threw me into an arena saying “YOU’VE MADE YOUR CHOICE”

Annoying thing about Finnick Odair fans

a GOOD portion of you guys keep saying “_______ can’t be Finnick, HE’S NOT HOT ENOUGH”

FINNICK IS SO MUCH MORE THAN A GOOD LOOKING GUY

It’s like, actual acting chops don’t matter if you guys aren’t getting your teenage fantasy about what he will look like wearing a fish net.

Finnick is a great character because he has DEPTH and he isn’t only eye candy.

 The capitol objectified Finnick too btw. Keep that in mind as you get all crazy.

Guys, just prepare yourself for disappointment, the statement made was VERY vague, and it is quite possible they looked for fancasts to excite people. Buzz for the movie. Don’t forget they said “ANOTHER SOURCE SAYS THEY ARE LOOKING FOR UNKNOWNS”

Peeta: I heard an excited giggle and the sound of running footsteps approaching the bakery. Glancing up from the elbow deep dough I was working with, I saw her. She looked uncomfortable as she slowly crept up to the window following her elated sister. I had been working up the nerve to say something to her since I threw that bread last year. I was good at talking to people, why should she be any different? So I did the only thing I could think of doing. I quickly dropped out of sight praying she didn’t see me.
Katniss: I could barely hear Prim admiring the cakes in the bakery. The ones I could never actually get for her. The only thing that I could concentrate on was the sickening curdle I felt rising through my stomach. I thought I saw him working at the counter…maybe it was just my guilt manifesting itself into the boy I couldn’t bring myself to thank after all this time. The corners of my lips curled upwards at the thought of it, making me feel worse. My little canary stopped chirping, signaling that I had spaced out. I turn my head away from the place the boy with the bread stood and look down at my sister who is staring at me with what I can only describe as a knowing look. I rearrange my face as quickly as I can and grab her hand, leading her home.  

This was under a “Keep Scrolling” post before, but It needs to be said out loud.

I’ve vented about this before, but it is reoccurring and it PISSES ME OFF. Anytime somebody mentions, insinuates, or even JOKES about Peeta being a stalker, I want to scream and shake them and slap some sense into them. People cheapen everything. I hate it so much. I almost want to unfollow anybody who does it. I know it’s not a big deal, but Peeta’s character means so much to me and to take a noble part of that character and twist it into something unflattering and creepy…well, I can’t handle that. Just because you are infatuated with somebody and pay attention to them does NOT mean you are a stalker. That’s SO STUPID. Even if you take the line from the movie “I watched you go home everyday…every.day..” you can’t call him a stalker for that. He didn’t claim that he followed her ass home or anything crazy like that. He simply observed her go home. That could mean he watched her turn the corner from school. IT JUST MEANS HE WAS PAYING ATTENTION. She caught his eye. /rant
